CADN: Glufosinate-ammonium
CAS NO.: 77182-82-2
Chemical Name: 2-Amino-4-(hydroxymethylphosphinyl)butanoic acid monoammonium salt
Molecular Formula: C5H15N2O4P
Molecular Weight: 198.2
Glutamine synthesis inhibitor leads to ammonium ion accumulation, thus inhibiting the photosynthesis.
Glufosinate is used for controlling and killing off a variety of annual and perennial broadleaf weeds and some gramineous weeds before the planting of orchards, vineyards, rubber and palm plantations, ornamental trees and shrubs, non-agricultural fields, and vegetables. It can also be used as the desiccant of sunflower and potatoes. Moreover, it can be used for controlling and killing off annual and perennial weeds and gramineous weeds in the anti-glufosinate transgenic crop field (rapeseed, corn, soybean, and sugar beet). The dose is 0.4-1.5kg/hm2. It can be mixed with Diuron, Simazine, Chipton and some other herbicides.
